BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) — Authorities have charged three more people in connection with a disturbing child sexual abuse and trafficking case out of Brent, Alabama, bringing the total number of suspects to seven.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade announced the arrests of Sara Louise Terrell, Rickey Cecil Terrell, and Rebecca Cecile Brewer. These arrests follow a February 4, 2025, investigation that began after reports of child sexual abuse in an underground bunker.

According to court documents:

Sara Terrell was charged with sexual torture and sexual abuse of a child under 12.

Rickey Terrell faces a charge of first-degree rape.

Rebecca Brewer is charged with eight counts of first-degree human trafficking, eight counts of first-degree kidnapping, and three counts of sexual torture.

They were arrested alongside Andres Trejo-Velazquez, William McElroy Chase, Timothy St. John, and Dalton Terrell, who were previously charged.

Sheriff Wade revealed the accused operated a child trafficking ring from a hidden bunker and earned up to $1,000 per night by exploiting victims. Authorities believe the abuse began as early as 2022, and additional victims and suspects may still be identified as the investigation continues.

“I know God’s forgiveness is boundless, but if there is a limit, we reached it,” Sheriff Wade said during the press briefing.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is working with state and federal agencies to support survivors and bring all involved to justice.
