NAPLES, Fla. — Five individuals were arrested Thursday after Naples Police uncovered a drug-filled home where children were living in unsafe conditions. The arrests and search were part of an investigation in the River Park East Community.
According to Naples Police Department (NPD), detectives served search warrants at two homes located in the 500 block of 13th Street North. During the search, law enforcement seized 335 grams of heroin, six grams of powder cocaine, six grams of crack cocaine, four rifles, five handguns, ammunition, and various narcotics-related paraphernalia. Investigators found evidence suggesting the homes were used for the manufacturing and distribution of illicit drugs within the community.
Jordan Dunnbacke, 39, Joylan Salters, 37, Brandon Perry, 42, and Martha Wright, 62, were arrested on multiple drug charges, including possession, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Cadwaller Martin, 43, was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
The police discovered several children inside the homes, prompting a response from the Department of Children and Families (DCF), who took custody of the minors.
Chief Ciro Dominguez made a statement condemning the dangerous conditions. “Let me be clear — we will not tolerate criminals turning family homes into hubs for guns and drugs,” Dominguez said. “When children are forced to live in these dangerous environments, it’s not just illegal — it’s unacceptable.”
The investigation is ongoing, with additional charges expected.
