UNION COUNTY, N.J. – A large-scale drug raid conducted on Thursday, May 29, across Union County and North Jersey has resulted in the arrest of 24 individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs, firearms, and cash, officials confirmed.
The operation, which included SWAT teams and multiple police departments, was led by Union County Prosecutor William Daniel and Linden Police Chief David Hart. Authorities executed 14 search warrants across Linden, Roselle, and other North Jersey locations as part of an extensive investigation targeting a local drug distribution network.
According to officials, the raids were coordinated through the Union County Intelligence and Narcotics Division and the Linden Police Narcotics Bureau. The following items were seized:
$81,559 in cash
6 handguns
431 grams of cocaine
2,149 prescription pills
22 grams of suspected heroin
127 grams of suspected methamphetamine
The suspects, whose ages range from their 20s to 70s, face a wide array of weapons and drug-related charges, including possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during a drug offense.
