18 Arrested in South Florida Gang Bust, Including ZMF Members

Drug Trafficking and Weapons Seizures Result in Federal Convictions

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Authorities have announced the arrest of 18 individuals, including members of the violent Haitian gang, the Zoe Mafia Family (ZMF), involved in drug trafficking activities across South Florida.

The joint operation, led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, the ATF Miami, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BSO), and various other local and federal agencies, resulted in multiple federal convictions for the arrested gang members.

These gangs, including the ZMF, 3rd World gang, and several Bloods members, were charged with trafficking fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine. The authorities involved in the operation also reported the seizure of 23 firearms, three kilograms of fentanyl, and seven kilograms of cocaine. In addition, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and marijuana were confiscated.

The 18 arrested individuals include:

Andre Allen, 37, sentenced to 120 months for fentanyl trafficking.

David Brown, 41, sentenced to 151 months for fentanyl trafficking.

Tirell Caldwell, 26, sentenced to 57 months for firearm possession as a convicted felon.

Johnnie Gibson, 51, sentenced to 175 months for fentanyl and cocaine trafficking.

Brionne Griffin, 35, sentenced to 60 months for trafficking fentanyl, crack cocaine, cocaine, and methamphetamine.

Joseph Johnson Jr., 46, sentenced to 120 months for fentanyl trafficking.

Timothy Neil Lewis Jr., 26, sentenced to 60 months for firearm possession during drug trafficking.

Makinson Moise, 35, sentenced to 248 months for firearm possession and trafficking fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine base.

Arnicious Odom, 48, sentenced to 30 months for fentanyl and cocaine trafficking.

Wendy Previl, 33, sentenced to 120 months for trafficking fentanyl and firearm possession in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Joshua Robinson, 38, sentenced to 51 months for methamphetamine trafficking.

Robert Roseme, 28, sentenced to 42 months for fentanyl trafficking.

Nolan Setoute, 43, sentenced to 12 months for firearm possession as a convicted felon.

Terrance Stanley, 40, sentenced to 60 months for firearm possession in connection with drug trafficking.

Dorshawn Tate, 20, sentenced to 8 months for distributing alprazolam.

British Wilkerson, 42, sentenced to 60 months for firearm possession in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Byron Felecio Williams Jr., 40, sentenced to 60 months for firearm possession in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Kevin Williams, 31, sentenced to 18 months for methamphetamine trafficking.

A significant number of the arrested individuals are affiliated with the Zoe Mafia Family (ZMF), a notorious South Floridian Haitian street gang. The U.S. State Department officially designated ZMF as a foreign terrorist organization earlier in May.

This operation reflects a successful collaboration among local and federal agencies in combating drug trafficking and reducing violent crime in the region.
