Zachary Barnett, Former Eanes ISD Teacher, Arrested for Child Pornography
Zachary Barnett, a former elementary music teacher at Eanes Independent School District (ISD), was arrested on February 26, 2025, on charges of possessing child pornography. Barnett, who had worked at Cedar Creek Elementary for three years, was apprehended following an investigation led by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Computer Information Technology and Electronic Crime (CITEC) Unit.
The arrest was made after three warrants were served against Barnett, who was booked into the Williamson County Jail. While the investigation is ongoing, no further details have been released at this time.
