Yasar Hussain Charged with Murder After Fatal Stabbing in Luton

A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing outside a property in Luton. Yasar Hussain, 27, from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, was arrested on Tuesday after the incident that left David Dosa, 53, dead at the scene.

The stabbing occurred on 15 August 2024, when Bedfordshire Police were called to the Farley Hill area at approximately 14:15 BST. Despite efforts to save him, Dosa was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hussain, who was charged with murder and possession of a bladed article, appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. He did not enter a plea, and was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Luton Crown Court on Tuesday for further proceedings.

Detective Chief Inspector Nick Gardner, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire major crime unit, stated that the arrest marked a significant development in the ongoing investigation. He expressed sympathy for the victim’s family, stating that they are being supported by specialist officers during this difficult time.
