Woman Arrested for Job Fraud at Kerala High Court Jisha K. Joy

In a case of fraudulent job promises, Jisha K. Joy, 41, from Mundukottackal, Kerala, has been arrested by the South Police. She is accused of defrauding a Kochi resident under the guise of securing a job at the Kerala High Court.

According to the police, Jisha falsely claimed to be an advocate at the High Court and assured the victim that she could help him secure an assistant position, stating that her name was on the list of candidates selected for the magistrate examination. The victim, trusting her credentials, paid Rs 2.15 lakh for the job offer.

Jisha continued to manipulate the victim, later requesting an additional Rs 6.5 lakh, citing the need to fund her relative’s education in the U.S. After the promised job and funds did not materialize, the victim grew suspicious and reported the incident to the police, leading to Jisha’s arrest.

Jisha is also facing multiple cases for similar fraudulent activities in Pathanamthitta, Ranni, and Thiruvalla. Investigations are ongoing, and police are looking into the extent of her operations.
