Windsor Police Arrest Monyke Halabi in Armed Robbery, Search for Others

Windsor police have arrested 28-year-old Monyke Halabi in connection with a violent armed robbery on University Avenue. The incident occurred on January 3 when three men, one carrying a firearm, broke into a home in the 1600 block of University Avenue, demanding property and cash from two victims.

Following an investigation, officers discovered Halabi’s involvement and arrested her the next day near Louis Avenue and University Avenue. She has been charged with robbery and occupying a vehicle with a firearm.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Christopher Carbonaro, 52, who is wanted for multiple offenses, including robbery, pointing a firearm, and possessing a firearm while prohibited. Carbonaro is described as a white male, 5’5″, approximately 155 pounds, with short brown hair and green eyes.

The police are still searching for two additional suspects involved in the crime. One is described as a male wearing a facemask, dark coat with a hood, blue jeans, and black shoes, while the other was dressed in a facemask, dark sweater, grey pants, and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
