A Watertown man has been arrested once more on charges related to fentanyl possession. Gordon Grandjean, 41, was taken into custody on Thursday night after city police reportedly found him with around 240 glassine envelopes of fentanyl. The substances were allegedly packaged in a manner consistent with drug sales, according to court documents.
Grandjean was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Following his arrest on High Street, he was arraigned and placed in Jefferson County Jail on a $20,000 bail.
This arrest comes just a month after Grandjean’s December arrest, where he was found with 140 fentanyl packages. Despite the previous charge, he was released after his arraignment. Authorities continue to crack down on drug-related offenses as part of ongoing efforts to combat fentanyl trafficking in the region.
