The founder and CEO of the online shopping platform Yepme.com, Vivek Gaur, has been arrested by the Delhi Police seven months after he was declared a proclaimed offender in connection with an alleged financial fraud case.
Gaur, aged 55, was apprehended from a flat located in DLF Crest, Sector-54, Gurgaon. The arrest comes after a prolonged search following his flight from law enforcement. According to the police, Gaur co-founded VAS Data Service Private Limited with his associate Sandeep Sharma in 2011. The company, which gained popularity for offering apparel and accessories online, has been accused of financial irregularities.
