Visakhapatnam Police Bust Illegal Payment Gateway Scheme

Visakhapatnam city police have dismantled an illegal payment gateway aggregator known as Peace Pay, acting on a tip-off from central agencies. At a press conference on Thursday, Police Commissioner Sankabrata Bagchi announced the arrest of seven individuals in connection with the operation.

Among those arrested, primary suspects Sai Ram and Girish were found to have utilized an extensive array of equipment for their fraudulent activities. Authorities seized 135 unregistered SIM cards, 65 mobile phones, one desktop computer, nine laptops, eight CPUs, nine monitors, and five TRX hardware devices. Additionally, they uncovered 699 bank accounts complete with cheque books, along with a motorcycle and a car.
