ALBANY, Ky. (WSMV) – Two individuals were arrested after troopers from the Kentucky State Police (KSP) recovered $16,000 worth of stolen jewelry, according to a report by the KSP.
The investigation began on Thursday, Nov. 28, when authorities received a report of custom-made jewelry worth $16,000 being stolen from a home in Clinton County.
KSP officials say their investigation led them to a home on Cave Springs Road in Albany, Ky., where they were able to recover the stolen jewelry on Friday, Nov. 29.
41-year-old Virginia Conner, of Albany, was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking over $10,000. Meanwhile, 42-year-old Christopher Conner, also of Albany, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $10,000, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
Both individuals were booked into the Clinton County Detention Center following their arrests.
