Vincent Donta White Arrested for Attempted Murder, Kidnapping

LAURINBURG, N.C. – A 46-year-old Laurinburg man, Vincent Donta White, has been arrested and faces multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping, after an alleged domestic dispute involving his former girlfriend.

Incident & Arrest
The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office reported that a female victim came forward, stating she had been assaulted by White. After an investigation, White was arrested and charged with:

Attempted first-degree murder
Breaking and entering to terrorize/injure
Felony assault by strangulation
First-degree kidnapping
Assault with a deadly weapon
Assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present
Bond & Detention
White is currently jailed at the Scotland County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond as the case proceeds.
