A 52-year-old Victoria woman, Helen Estrada, was arrested on charges related to the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance after authorities say she sold ecstasy pills to an undercover officer.
On January 15, the Special Crimes Unit, with help from the Beeville Police Department, set up a controlled buy to purchase ecstasy from Estrada. Surveillance was conducted on her residence before the operation. Authorities saw Estrada leave her home and head to the designated buy location. There, she sold 200 ecstasy pills for $150 to the undercover officer.
Following the transaction, Estrada was seen walking to another location on Sam Houston Drive. She was arrested shortly afterward and taken to the Victoria County Jail.
