Victor Olanipekun and Olabayo Adeboye Face N47.8M Fraud Charges

Ado-Ekiti—Victor Olanipekun, 34, and Olabayo Adeboye, 40, were arraigned yesterday in a Federal High Court in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, over an alleged N47.8 million fraud. The duo faces four counts of conspiracy and fraud, violations under Section 1(3) and 11 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act 2006, and Section 390(6) of the Criminal Code Act 2004.

Police prosecutor Samson Osobu stated that Olanipekun unlawfully diverted N21.9 million belonging to Sadesh Global Limited into his personal account, while Adeboye fraudulently obtained a total of N25.9 million from the company under false pretenses.
