Valdosta Police Arrest Michael Sloan & Delcida McCullough in Drug Bust

On December 11, 2024, detectives from the Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Unit served an active arrest warrant at a residence on the 400 block of Webster Street. The target of the warrant was 35-year-old Michael Sloan. Upon arriving, detectives detected a strong odor of narcotics inside the home.

After securing a search warrant, detectives discovered 35-year-old Delcida McCullough inside the residence. McCullough was also found to have active arrest warrants unrelated to the current case.

During the search, authorities seized a significant quantity of powder cocaine, a firearm, and several items indicative of drug sales, including tools and currency. Sloan was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of drug-related items. He was taken to the Lowndes County Jail.

McCullough was also arrested on her outstanding warrants and transported to jail. Both suspects are now facing serious charges in connection with narcotics activity.
