The Vadodara City Police have successfully cracked at least nine cases of snatching and theft, leading to the arrest of four individuals. Among the cases solved, two major house break-ins under the Harni and Bapod police stations were also resolved.
The arrested individuals are part of the notorious Sikligar gang, according to police officials. On Thursday, two of the accused, Tara Singh Kallu Singh Bavari and Dildar Singh Toofan Singh Bavri, were apprehended. During their arrest, the police recovered seven gold chains worth Rs 6 lakh.
Further investigation revealed that both Tara Singh and Dildar Singh were involved in seven other criminal cases across various police stations in Vadodara. The authorities continue to probe the extent of their criminal activities as the investigation progresses.
