UPS Employees Arrested in $269K Theft Scheme Involving Stolen Phones

SHELDON BROWN, the UPS delivery driver responsible for removing stolen packages from a shipping facility, and Christopher Palmer, a fellow UPS driver, were arrested following an extensive investigation into a major theft operation involving T-Mobile packages. According to authorities, Brown would hand over the stolen packages to White and Palmer, and Palmer was found in possession of one of the stolen phones at the time of his arrest.

On February 25, detectives executed four arrest warrants and a search warrant at GoalMind Studios. Their efforts led to the discovery of stolen packages, with a total documented loss to T-Mobile amounting to approximately $269,036. The thefts occurred at a UPS hub located at 2001 Avenue P in Riviera Beach, and investigators identified 16 specific instances where T-Mobile packages had been stolen.

Brown, White, and Palmer now face several charges, including conspiracy to commit racketeering, grand theft over $100,000, organized scheme to defraud over $50,000, dealing in stolen property, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Authorities are still searching for Drummond, who is believed to be involved in the theft ring and remains at large.

The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the thefts, with further arrests expected as the case progresses.
