Udupi Police Arrest Two for Stealing Ornaments Worth Rs2 Lakh, Recovered Stolen Items

In a swift response to a theft case, the Udupi Police arrested Vinayak (41) and Pramila (30) from Gujjadi in Kundapur taluk within 12 hours of the incident. The duo was involved in the theft of ornaments worth Rs2 lakh, and all the stolen items were successfully recovered.

According to the police, the theft occurred recently in the Udupi district, where the suspects managed to steal valuable ornaments. Prompt investigation and quick action by the police led to the apprehension of the culprits, ensuring that the victim was able to recover the stolen property.

The Udupi police have commended the efficiency of their team in solving the case so quickly and recovering the stolen goods. Further investigation is underway to determine if the suspects were involved in other similar crimes in the area.
