Udupi Police Arrest Five for Attempting to Sell Banned MDMA Drugs

The Central Crime Branch (CEN) police in Udupi have arrested five individuals for attempting to sell banned MDMA drugs. The arrested suspects have been identified as Abrar Sheikh (22), Mohammad Ismail Farhan (25), Mohammad (26), Nauman (27), and Sajjad Mustaqim (21). During the arrest, the police seized 15.59 grams of MDMA, valued at Rs78,000, along with a car worth Rs11,28,000 and five mobile phones from the accused.

The police action comes as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region. The five men are now facing charges for their involvement in the illegal trade of narcotics, and further investigation is underway.
