Two Women Arrested in Connection with Jackson Murder

Magee Police have arrested two women wanted in connection with a homicide in Jackson. Angela Rhodes, 34, and Ariana Expose, 25, were taken into custody near the Love’s Truck Stop on Highway 49 South on December 2nd, following a collaboration between Simpson County deputies and Magee Police.

The women are accused of being involved in the murder of Jeremy Easterling, which took place at the Crown Motel on Boling Street. Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade confirmed that Rhodes and Expose arranged to meet the victim before killing him.

Both women were granted a $500,000 bond during their initial court appearances on December 3rd, 2024. They remain in the custody of the Jackson Police Department as the investigation continues.
