Two Proclaimed Offenders Arrested by Nakodar Police, Including Murder and Drug Peddling Cases

Nakodar police have arrested two proclaimed offenders (POs), one wanted in a 2019 murder case and the other in a drug peddling case.

The first arrested accused, Des Raj, a resident of Natt village under Nurmahal police station, had been absconding for the last four years. He was wanted in a murder case and was declared a proclaimed offender in 2021.

In a separate operation, the police also apprehended Buta Ram, a proclaimed offender from Raiwal village, who had been evading arrest in a drug peddling case.

Both suspects have now been taken into custody, and further legal proceedings are underway.
