Two Men Arrested for Drug Trafficking After I-295 Traffic Stop

Two men are facing serious drug charges after authorities seized fentanyl, crack cocaine, and Oxycontin pills during a traffic stop on I-295 in Richmond, Maine, on Saturday.

The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies pulled over a vehicle near Exit 43 for a defective headlight. The driver, 52-year-old Brian M. McNeil of Eddington, was found to be unlicensed.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies discovered 107.7 grams of fentanyl, 51 grams of crack cocaine, and 100 Oxycontin pills. Both McNeil and his passenger, 22-year-old Harlin C. Guerrero, were arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs.

The two men were taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset. McNeil is being held on $5,000 cash bail, while Guerrero is facing a higher $15,000 cash bail. Additionally, Guerrero is being held on a detainer for Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE).
