Two Men Accused of Multi-State Burglary and Credit Card Fraud Ring

Stuart, Fla. (CBS12) — Two men are facing serious charges after being accused of leading a multi-state burglary and credit card fraud ring.

The Stuart Police Department (SPD) began investigating a car burglary that occurred on May 31, 2023, at the Crunch Fitness parking lot in Stuart. The victim, who had been inside the gym, reported that their car was broken into, and their purse containing credit and debit cards was stolen.

The stolen cards were used at a nearby Walmart, where multiple gift cards were purchased. As investigators continued their probe, they discovered that the theft was part of a larger operation involving several suspects.

The SPD identified Elijah Parker and Tazomi Natta as the primary suspects in the crime ring. According to investigators, Parker and Natta would burglarize vehicles, steal credit cards, buy gift cards, and transfer the funds through various financial platforms.

On January 16, 2024, a warrant for Parker’s arrest was issued for burglary and fraudulent use of credit cards. However, Parker had already been arrested in Arizona, where he remains in custody. The following day, January 17, a warrant was issued for Natta. On February 12, Natta was arrested in Broward County, where he is still being held in jail.

The investigation into this widespread fraud ring is ongoing, and authorities continue to uncover additional information about the suspects’ activities across multiple states.
