In a shocking development, two junior doctors from Osmania Medical College were arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly purchasing ganja from a drug peddler. The Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau (TGANB), in collaboration with the Sultan Bazaar police, apprehended the doctors and seized 10 sachets of ganja weighing 80 grams from their possession.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Dr. K. Manikandan and Dr. V. Aravind. The police investigation revealed that the ganja was sold to them by 38-year-old Suresh Singh alias Tinku Singh, a notorious drug peddler who has been involved in several drug-related cases in the city since 2017.
Authorities confirmed that Tinku Singh had been supplying contraband to various individuals in the city, and this was the latest incident of his involvement in drug trafficking. The police have seized the drugs and are continuing their investigation into the case.
