Police in the South Bay recently announced the arrest of two Fresno residents in connection with armed robberies that targeted massage parlors in San Jose and Milpitas. The arrests followed an incident at a massage parlor on the 2000 block of Story Road in East San Jose on January 20.
The investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the parlor and paid for a massage. Shortly afterward, a second male suspect entered and demanded money from the two women working there. The first suspect allegedly forced the women into separate rooms and held them against their will, while the second suspect stole cash and personal items. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a third individual.
Following the robbery, San Jose police detectives identified 20-year-olds Damauriae Greene and Shyanne Real, both from Fresno, as two of the three suspects involved. The investigation also linked Greene to similar robberies in Milpitas and other cities.
In a separate armed robbery that occurred on March 8, Milpitas police connected Greene and Real to a robbery at a parlor on East Calaveras Boulevard. The suspects used a firearm to rob employees and patrons, stealing cash, jewelry, and purses.
Detectives obtained arrest and search warrants for the two suspects. On Tuesday, they located Greene and Real in Fresno, where a search of their residence uncovered evidence linking them to the crimes, along with a replica firearm.
Both Greene and Real were booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. They are being held without bail and are scheduled for court appearances on Friday. The third suspect remains at large.
