Two Drug Suppliers Arrested in Maligaon Police Anti-Drug Operation

In a continued effort to combat drug-related activities, the Maligaon Police have intensified their anti-drug operations. On Thursday, Jalukbari Police successfully arrested two individuals allegedly involved in drug trafficking.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Tanu Bora from Tetelia and Najimuddin Ahmed from Kamalpur. Acting on a tip-off, the police apprehended the duo while they were reportedly waiting for a customer under the Danlap Bridge in Jalukbari.

During the operation, law enforcement seized approximately 24 grams of heroin, packed in 17 containers, from the suspects. The police believe that Tanu Bora and Najimuddin Ahmed were active participants in drug supply networks operating in the city. Further investigations are underway to determine their connections to larger trafficking rings.
