Readstown, Wis. — March 9, 2025 – Two individuals have been arrested in connection to a retail theft investigation that began in mid-to-late February. According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, the thefts occurred twice at the same business and once at another in the Village of Readstown.
On Friday afternoon, 44-year-old Travis James Burrow of Viola and 44-year-old Treasa Maria Lohmiller of Soldiers Grove were taken into custody in Viola. Burrow has been charged with retail theft, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor bail jumping. Lohmiller faces charges of being a party to the crime of retail theft and possession of methamphetamine.
Both individuals are being held pending a bail hearing, with formal charges expected to be filed by Vernon County District Attorney Angela Palmer-Fisher. Authorities also indicate that another arrest may be made in connection to the ongoing investigation.
