Two Arrested in Montgomery County Tire Theft Operation

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — Quick action by deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of two suspects involved in a tire theft operation on February 21, 2025.

Deputies responded to a theft call in the 12000 block of Sawmill Road, where two individuals in a silver passenger car were actively stealing wheels and tires from vehicles in a parking lot. A concerned citizen provided a detailed description of the suspects’ vehicle and clothing, which helped authorities locate the vehicle.

District 2 Deputies identified the suspect vehicle near Interstate 45, and District 6 Deputies swiftly detained both suspects without incident.

Jamerius Green, an adult male suspect, was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. A juvenile suspect was detained and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center for further processing.

One set of stolen rims and tires was recovered and returned to the victim, while another set was seized, pending identification of the owner.
