The Kalamassery police arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of 55-year-old Jayesy Abraham, whose body was found in her rented apartment at Kunamthai on November 17.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Girish Babu (42) from Thrikkakara and Khadeeja (42) from Eroor, Thripunithura. Jayesy, who had been living alone in the apartment for the past year, was a mutual friend of both suspects.
Authorities found her lifeless body in the bathroom, and the autopsy revealed that the cause of death was multiple head injuries. Police are continuing their investigation into the motive behind the crime.
