by Ananya Mehta

Punganur police have arrested two individuals involved in the brutal murder of TDP leader Ramakrishna. The suspects have been identified as A1 K Venkataramana, 34, from Chandramakulapalli in Punganur mandal, and A5 M Reddeppa Reddy. According to Chittoor district SP Manikanta Chandolu, the murder was not an impulsive act but a calculated part of a larger conspiracy aimed at gaining political control in the Punganur constituency.

The attack was premeditated. On March 15, the assailants targeted Suresh, the son of Ramakrishna, in Chandramakulapalli. When Ramakrishna tried to intervene to protect his son, he was brutally hacked to death by the attackers. Despite being grievously injured, Ramakrishna was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way.

The SP also mentioned that special teams have been formed to track down three more individuals involved in the murder: A2 N Mahesh, A3 Thrilok Naidu, and A4 Rajani, who are still at large.
