Saran police arrested two individuals on Thursday in connection with the stabbing of two men in the Bhagwan Bazar area on Wednesday night. The victims, Babu Raza and Hasan Ali, were initially given first aid at Sadar Hospital in Chhapra before being transferred to PMCH, where Babu Raza succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Hasan Ali remains in critical condition.
According to Saran SP Kumar Ashish, an FIR was filed by Fakruddin, and a detailed investigation was initiated. The accused, Kamran and Mumtaz, residents of Brahampur Mohalla under Bhagwan Bazar police station, were arrested in connection with the attack. The police are continuing efforts to apprehend other suspects involved in the crime.
Sources suggest that a love affair may have been the motive behind the stabbing. The investigation is ongoing to confirm the exact circumstances.
