Two Arrested for Murder of Fahad in Rent Dispute, Including Main Accused

The Hali Road Police have arrested two individuals, including the main accused, Hamid Faisal alias China, and Abdul Rauf, in connection with the murder of a young man, Fahad, over a rent dispute.

The arrests were made after a tip-off led to the capture of Hamid Faisal and his accomplices. Police recovered a pistol from Hamid Faisal, and another case under the Arms Act (Section 25-A) has been registered against him for illegal possession of the firearm.

According to reports, the incident took place on January 15, 2025, when a violent dispute broke out between Faisal, Abdul Rauf, and others over the issue of vacating a rented house. During the altercation, 26-year-old Fahad alias Sunni was fatally shot, while others sustained injuries.

The Hali Road Police have registered a murder case and are continuing their investigation. The case highlights the tragic escalation of a rent-related conflict that led to a fatal shooting.
