Tupelo, MS – Sydney R. Wilson, a 38-year-old woman from Tupelo, was arrested and charged with felony shoplifting after attempting to steal items from Walmart on December 27.
According to the Tupelo Police Department, officers responded to a theft report at 2270 West Main Street and were informed that Wilson had tried to exit the store with multiple unpaid items. Store personnel detained her until the police arrived.
Wilson was arrested on charges of felony shoplifting and was held on a $5,000 bond. Her case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further legal proceedings.
