Tupelo Man Charged with Burglary of Commercial Building

Caelen E. Triplett Arrested for Theft at Express Shop

A 22-year-old man from Tupelo, Caelen E. Triplett, has been charged with burglary after allegedly breaking into the Express Shop located at 2611 South Eason Boulevard. The incident occurred on November 11th, 2024, when Tupelo police responded to a report of a burglary at the business.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that the suspect had forced entry into the store and stolen multiple items. Surveillance footage helped authorities identify a potential suspect. After further investigation, Triplett was arrested and charged with burglary of a commercial building.

Triplett has been ordered to be held on a $5,000 bond by Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen. The charges will be presented to a Lee County Grand Jury.
