Tristan Ferdig Arrested in Monett for Bank Theft and Resisting Arrest

A 24-year-old Monett man, Tristan Ferdig, is behind bars after being arrested for stealing cash from the United Missouri Bank on East Broadway Street. The theft occurred just after 4:30 p.m. today, and police quickly responded to the scene.

Ferdig took an undisclosed amount of money from the bank, but police were able to apprehend him minutes later. Despite resisting arrest and refusing to comply with officers’ commands, Ferdig was taken into custody without further incident. The stolen money was recovered.

Formal charges related to the theft and resisting arrest are still pending as the investigation continues.
