Three individuals have been charged with 60 felonies after attempting to sell over 1,100 pieces of forged Jason Kelce-signed memorabilia valued at over $200,000, the Montgomery County District Attorney announced. Robert Capone, LeeAnn Branco, and Joseph Parenti face charges including forgery, theft by deception, and dealing in the proceeds of unlawful practices.
Branco, employed by Beckett Authentication Services, used her position to authenticate the forged signatures of Kelce, which were sold with counterfeit certificates of authenticity through Capone and Parenti’s businesses, Overtime Promotions and Diamond Legends.
The scam was uncovered in June 2024 when a legitimate memorabilia company flagged the forged items. Beckett Authentication has apologized and promised to buy back the fraudulent items.
