A three-member gang has been apprehended in connection with a visa fraud case in Kochi. The arrested individuals are identified as Divikshith (31), his wife Denna (26), and Rijun (28). While the men are from Kannur, Denna hails from Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district. The arrests were made by the Palarivattom police, and the trio has since been remanded.
The accused operated companies named ‘Dreamer Passionate’ and ‘Flying Future’ located in Chakkaraparambu. They allegedly deceived their victims by promising work visas and high salaries in various foreign countries, including Poland, New Zealand, Portugal, and Armenia. However, many individuals never received their visas, and some were cheated with false promises of visiting visas.
It is estimated that over 100 people have fallen prey to the deceptive tactics of this gang, which reportedly utilized advertisements featuring film stars on social media to attract potential victims.
