FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) — Trevor Terrell Johnson, 36, of Florence, has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at the Absolem Hookah Lounge in Florence that occurred in September. The arrest followed an investigation into the shooting death of Robert Fields.
Johnson has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. The shooting took place on September 14 at 1931 Second Loop Road. Police had previously released images of a car that might have been involved in the suspect’s escape after the incident.
“We want to thank the community for coming together and seeking justice for Fields,” said Police Capt. Stephen Starling. “Without the collaborations from the citizens of Florence, we would not have been able to progress in this case.”
Johnson is currently being held in the Florence County Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing.
