Treveyon Coach Arrested in Connection with Natchez Homicide

NATCHEZ, Miss. — A 20-year-old man, Treveyon Coach, has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Jalen Griffin on New Year’s night in Natchez.

According to the Natchez Police Department, Coach was taken into custody following an investigation into the shooting that occurred on Dumas Drive. The incident resulted in the death of Griffin and left another person injured.

Police have indicated that more arrests are expected as the investigation continues. The case remains under active review as authorities work to gather additional information related to the homicide.
