Travis Scott Arrested in Paris After Alleged Brawl with Bodyguard

Travis Scott, the 33-year-old rapper, was arrested in Paris early Friday morning following an alleged drunken altercation with his bodyguard. The incident occurred at his hotel after Scott returned from the Olympics. French police detained him around 5 a.m., reportedly stating that he was still “sobering up” in his cell and could not be immediately questioned.

The arrest came just hours after Scott had attended the Olympic semi-final basketball match between the U.S. and Serbia. TMZ reports that Scott got into a violent confrontation with his bodyguard upon his return to the hotel, leading to his detention by local authorities.

A source close to the investigation noted that Scott was not in the proper state to be questioned immediately, so he was placed in a cell to recover. This marks Scott’s second arrest in a matter of months, with the rapper previously detained in Miami in June for disorderly intoxication.

In Miami, Scott had allegedly caused a disturbance at a marina after being asked to leave a yacht. Police arrived to find him “yelling” and “behaving erratically,” with a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Despite being asked to calm down, Scott reportedly continued yelling obscenities, leading to his arrest on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing.

Scott, who shares two children with Kylie Jenner, is facing mounting scrutiny following these incidents, adding to his controversial reputation.
