A 41-year-old man from the Town of Dover, Michael Castagnino, has been arrested and is currently in custody at the Racine County Jail on five counts of child pornography. The charges stem from his alleged actions of uploading child pornography to his Kik account.
According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, investigators were tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led them to Castagnino. Authorities from the Sheriff’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit initiated an investigation, which included executing a search warrant at Castagnino’s residence on January 16, 2025. During the search, several electronic devices were seized for forensic analysis.
