Topeka Woman, Hannah Belshe, Arrested for Meth Possession

SHAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) – A 39-year-old Topeka woman, Hannah M. Belshe, was arrested on Tuesday, November 19, following a tip about drug activity in Shawnee County.

Sheriff Brian C. Hill reported that an anonymous tip was received early that morning, just before 1:30 a.m., regarding a female selling illegal narcotics at a business in the 1800 block of NW Brickyard Road. A nearby sergeant responded to the tip and launched an investigation, which led to the discovery of illegal narcotics.

Belshe was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on several charges, including:

Possession of opiate, opium, narcotic, or certain stimulant
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Interference with law enforcement
The investigation is still ongoing.
