Todd Robert Klink Sentenced to 13 Years for Meth Distribution

An Anchorage man, Todd Robert Klink, 55, has been sentenced to 13 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine in Alaska and violating the conditions of his release from a previous drug conviction. The sentencing was announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Alaska on February 14.

Court documents reveal that Klink made two separate methamphetamine sales to a law enforcement witness, one in July 2023 and another in January 2024, totaling over 82 grams. The first sale involved 97% pure methamphetamine, while the second sale contained 68% pure methamphetamine.

In addition to these sales, Klink was indicted by a federal grand jury on February 20, 2024, facing two charges of distributing a controlled substance. Agents arrested Klink on March 1, 2024, executing a federal search warrant at his home. During the search, authorities seized more than 3.5 kilograms of 100% pure methamphetamine, over 500 grams of 98% pure methamphetamine, digital scales, and other drug-related paraphernalia.

First Assistant U.S. Attorney Kathryn R. Vogel emphasized the severity of Klink’s actions, stating that despite his criminal past, Klink chose to continue trafficking dangerous drugs in the community. “This sentence sends a strong message that the justice system will not tolerate the distribution of illegal, poisonous substances that jeopardize public safety.”
