Toan Vo Arrested for $140,000 Vape Shop Burglary in Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. – A 31-year-old Westminster man, Toan Vo, was arrested on March 10, 2025, in connection with the burglary of a vape shop in Irvine, where $140,000 was stolen from a safe.

According to the Irvine Police Department, the burglary occurred in August 2024 at a vape shop in east Irvine. Detectives collected evidence and began searching for leads.

Breakthrough in the Case
Recently, DNA evidence from one of the items at the crime scene matched Vo, leading to his identification as the suspect.

Arrest and Charges
On March 10, Irvine police located Vo outside a home, where body cam footage captured his arrest. He was handcuffed, taken into custody, and booked into Orange County Jail on burglary charges.

Authorities have not released further details as the case remains under investigation.
