TMC Worker Murder: Prime Accused Arrested in Ballia, UP

More than a week after the brutal murder of Santosh Yadav, a TMC worker, in broad daylight in Naihati, North 24 Parganas district, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the West Bengal Police has successfully apprehended the prime accused, Rajesh Shaw, and his accomplice, Vishal. The arrests were made following a raid on a village in the Fefna area of Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday night.

The SIT, which was formed to investigate the murder of 40-year-old Santosh Yadav, tracked down the suspects and arrested them after an extensive search. The two accused are now in police custody as the investigation continues into the tragic killing that shocked the community.
