Titusville Police Arrest Three in Theft of Cash and Documents

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (KLTV) – Titusville Police have arrested three individuals, including two juveniles, after they stole cash, employee paychecks, and tax documents from the Gold Lion Bar on January 30.

Officers responded to multiple 911 calls around 12:50 p.m. after the suspects jumped the counter at the bar, located on Coquina Street. The two juveniles took bags containing a large sum of money, employee paychecks, and W-2 tax forms before fleeing the scene in a gold sedan.

Witnesses provided detailed descriptions of the suspects and the getaway vehicle, helping officers track down the car minutes later on Deleon Avenue. The suspects were identified by witnesses and detained at a residence on Pine Valley Lane.

Police obtained a search warrant for the residence, where they recovered all stolen items, including cash, paychecks, and tax forms. Officers also found a firearm and ammunition during the search.

The arrested individuals include Pablo S. Dotts, 20, of Titusville, who faces charges of burglary, grand theft, conspiracy to commit burglary, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A 13-year-old male and a 14-year-old female, both from Titusville, were charged with grand theft and burglary.

Detective Christopher Wood commended the swift actions of the officers and witnesses. “Recovering the paychecks and the personal tax information helped prevent potential identity theft issues,” Wood said.

The investigation is ongoing, but police have confirmed that all stolen property has been returned.
