Timothy Stephenson & Melissa Sims Charged in Child Endangerment Case

Authorities in Morgan County, Alabama, have arrested two individuals on charges of chemical endangerment of a child following an ongoing investigation.

According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Bean Road in Hartselle. During the operation, they arrested Timothy Paul Stephenson, 54, and Melissa Ann Sims, 51, both of Hartselle.

Officials stated that the arrests stemmed from a Department of Human Resources (DHR) case involving failed drug screenings. Investigators obtained warrants as part of their efforts to ensure child safety in the home.

Both individuals now face criminal charges, and the investigation remains ongoing.
