Timothy Bea Arrested for Drug Trafficking Using Former Bar in West Allis

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Timothy Bea, 41, a former bar owner from West Allis, faces federal drug trafficking charges for allegedly using his former establishment, Bar 1000, to distribute drugs connected to the Sinaloa Cartel.

Federal prosecutors say Bea sourced narcotics from a father and son in a Chicago suburb, with the supply traced back to the Mexican cartel. Authorities allege the drug distribution network extended from Milwaukee to the cartel’s base.

The bar, located near 21st and Teutonia, was closed last fall and was recently repainted. Despite its closure, prosecutors claim the venue was used as a front for drug operations.

Bea was arrested in April after a traffic stop uncovered a brick of drugs hidden under the vehicle’s hood. Court documents indicate he had been under surveillance by a drug task force prior to the arrest.
