“Three Women Arrested for Stealing Debit Card Information in Saratoga Springs”

Three women have been arrested in Saratoga Springs, accused of stealing debit card information from residents at the Capital District Development Disabilities Services Office in Clifton Park. Lashea Pettway, 30, Jessie Gabriel, 34, and Christin McGrath, 45, are facing multiple charges, including grand larceny and identity theft.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the case on November 20, 2024, after receiving a complaint about a suspected larceny at the office. Following their investigation, authorities determined that Pettway, Gabriel, and McGrath had allegedly used debit card information from residents for personal gain.

According to deputies, Gabriel and McGrath used stolen debit card details to purchase food, with Gabriel making 12 separate purchases from three different residents. McGrath is accused of stealing from two residents. Both women are also alleged to have used another person’s identity in these transactions.

Charges:

Lashea Pettway: Four counts of fourth-degree grand larceny (felony).
Jessie Gabriel: Three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny (felony), 12 counts of petit larceny, and three counts of third-degree identity theft (misdemeanor).
Christin McGrath: Two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny (felony), one count of petit larceny, and one count of third-degree identity theft (misdemeanor).
All three women were processed and released with appearance tickets to answer the charges.
